What Our Students Say
Allowing people to feel good about their dogs and improving the quality of their lives is important to us. Hear what they have to say:
Dear Paula and Staff,
Our Lexy was our very first puppy and we had no idea how difficult it was to have a dog. We learned very quickly that we needed some help so we asked our vet for a recommendation of a nearby trainer, she quickly said the Curious Canine. I called you when I got home and it was the best thing we did for our family. We started class 2 weeks later and after 2 weeks of training we saw a huge improvement in Lexy’s personality. She actually started to look at us when we spoke to her and was responding to the sit and down commands for the first time. Above all she seemed to enjoy coming to class to train and visit with her new canine friends! By the time graduation came around Lexy was a changed puppy and we looked forward to heading into the next class. Thank you again for such a great class!
The Carpenter Family
I want to thank you and your staff for helping us with our Lab Moxley. As you know Moxley was a very excitable 1 year old Lab and we needed some help. You showed us how to find the humor in Moxley and gave us the tools to teach him how to respond to us. Moxley still has a way to go but he is now on the right path. Thanks for all of your help and we will see you in the next class.
Tara and Moxley
Thank you for all of your help with our puppy River, Puppy Class was a absolute blast! Watching our new puppy build friendships was amazing ,especially since she first appeared to be so shy. With your understanding and knowledge we were able to let her go and learn to be playful with the other puppies in the group. After a few weeks of puppy play and class she was right in the group running and rolling around! It was fun to watch and she enjoyed coming to class each week.
Thanks again for a fun class!
Hi Curious Canine Staff,
Thank you for getting our over eager Sully to respond to us, I never thought it would happen but your commitment and constant patience has helped us to like Sully again. Being a Golden Retriever with a lot of energy made walking a challenge, thank you so much for suggesting the Gentle Leader Head Halter and showing us how to use it properly. We are now able to walk Sully and get him the exercise he needed. We will see you in Advanced Beginner Class next session!
